NSDC: Martial law to be imposed in case of Russian aggression

NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov claims that in case of Russian troops' advance in the ATO area, Ukraine will introduce martial law. He said this during his visit to the Kyiv Armored Plant on Friday, the Interfax-Ukraine reported.

"I would like to say: if Russia goes the length of disrupting the Minsk agreements (for which, unfortunately, everything is presently done), certainly we shall act according to challenges the country will be facing," he said.

"If Russian troops are actively used, certainly we shall be forced to impose martial law and hold a more powerful mobilization of the whole potential available in the country," Mr. Turchynov said.
